Episode 10 starts with Burnley away. Form has been awful in the lead up to this game and due to fixture pileup I have had to make a few changes.

Lineup is going to be; Ospina (GK), Kolasinac (LB), Mustafi (CB), Koulibaly (CB), Toure (RB), Tolisso (CM), Goretzka (CM), Sane (CAM), Bergwijn (LW), Williams (RW), Poulsen (ST). Highlights below.

After a bit of a shaky start the boys really pulled it together and came away with an impressive 4-0 win. Hopefully the team is hitting form just in time for the Spurs FA Cup game which is up next. The invincible season may be off, but a league, FA Cup and Europa League treble is still on. Below is the league table following the Burnley game which looks even better as Everton just lost 1-0 to Spurs.

FA Cup time now. The derby against Spurs. In PES cup games are played at neutral venues so no home field advantage for either of us. There has been a week between games for the first time in a while so I have went with one of my strongest lineups. Alisson (GK), Kolasinac (LB), Ajer (CB), Koulibaly (CB), Toure (RB), Tolisso (CM), Goretzka (CM), Sane (CAM), Balde (LW), Williams (RW), Poulsen (ST). Highlights below.

Another awesome 4-0 win. For some reason the third goal didn’t show up in the highlights, which is really annoying as it was a great chip. The opener from Williams is a goal of the year contender. Sometimes he is unplayable cutting in from the right hand side. Quick, powerful and skillful. All you could ask for. The team definitely now seems back in form.

The next match is away in the Europa League. It’s the Round of 32 against Atalanta. I’m going to continue simulating these games at the moment, probably until the quarter final if we get that far. The lineup I have chosen has the league match with Liverpool three days later in mind; Ospina (GK), Kolasinac (LB), Mustafi (CB), Fosu-Mensah (CB), Hysaj (RB), Tolisso (CM), Xhaka (CM), Asensio (CAM), Bergwijn (LW), Thauvin (RW), Mbappe (ST). The result was a 2-0 win which sets us up nicely for the home leg.

Lastly today we have our home league game against Liverpool. The boys have been on a roll lately but Liverpool sit in fifth place, just goal difference out of the Champions League slots so it’s going to be a tough match. They always press really high so I’ll need to move the ball quickly. The lineup chosen is; Alisson (GK), Lukaku (LB), Ajer (CB), Koulibaly (CB), Toure (RB), Tielemans (CM), Goretzka (CM), Sane (CAM), Balde (LW), Williams (RW), Poulsen (ST). Highlights below.

Disappointed to only come away with a draw. We dominated the match for large portions but Karius had the game of his life between the sticks. In other matches this game week Everton beat Man Utd 3-1 so that leaves me four points clear at the top with Everton in second and they are three points free of Man Utd in third. That’ll wrap up this episode. As always I’ll be back soon with the next installment. Leave comments, tweet me @VizualDze and all that other good stuff. Peace.

Craig started gaming at 4 years old on the NES and has been hooked ever since. Trophies and achievements have only made him fall deeper down the rabbit hole. Will play almost anything, although particularly partial to anything involving stealth and silenced pistols. Football game enthusiast. RIP PES.
