FIFA 18 World Cup Update

1 Min Read

In a somewhat surprising move EA has announced that they not only won’t be releasing a standalone World Cup game this year, but that it won’t come in the form of paid DLC either. Instead we are being treated to a free update coming May 29th which will add all the World Cup content.

The usual slew of kit updates, competition graphics and licensed stadium will all be coming, but given that we don’t have to actually pay for the update many are expecting less to be put into this World Cup mode than in previous entries. The new content will also be added to FIFA’s mega popular Ultimate Team mode as well.

You can check out the reveal trailer below, which typically gives away absolutely fuck all.
