Celtic – European Elite Ep.2 | PES 2018

3 Min Read

Hey everyone welcome back to my European Elite master league with Celtic. After a successful episode one which was live streamed I’m back with the second installment. This time the matches are archived like a lot of my Arsenal season was, except with the addition of starting lineups, end of game stats, full league results and the league table inserted into each video to give you a more real time look at how things are going.

A quick reminder that I basically edited the game to put all the best European teams into a Premier and Division 1 league. I have went Celtic and stuck them in the premier division. Below is a look at both divisions.

Prem teams

Other than the teams being moved about this will work like a normal league with promotion, relegation and transfers. The only thing I can’t control is that when I end up in the Europa or Champions League it will be full of mid level teams due to the changes I have made. It’s for that reason that I’ll just be simulating those games and not discussing them.

After starting the season with a 2-0 win at home to Real Madrid and following that up with a 1-0 win at home to Napoli the next match was away to AC Milan. Full highlights are below.

A tough match but a good performance and another win. Poulsen is on fire with another two goals. The second of which was a tremendous chip. Forrest is also playing brilliantly out on the wing and Kehrer is going to be a big star at the back. I couldn’t have asked for much better than three straight wins to start the season.

Next up we switch our attention to cup competition. I have been drawn against Fiorentina. I have decided to rotate a little with Dahoud coming in for Vilhena and Roberts in for Teixeira.

Well that went poorly. Granted I had plenty of chances to equalise and the stats say I was on top, but in the moment it felt like the team was roundly outplayed. Given my relatively small squad though not having to manage a cup run could prove beneficial in the league. I had hoped Paddy Roberts would really shine in attacking midfield but at least on this day it just didn’t happen for him.

In the last match of episode two it’s game week 4 in the European Elite league. Another home tie and this time it’s Manchester City coming to town. They come into this game off the back of a scoreless draw at home to Bayern Munich and sit sixth in the league. Highlights below.

The side took a real roasting for the first 45 minutes but battled back well and in the end were unlucky to only get a draw. The team are starting to gel well but it will take the guts of a season before they are truly on the same page. So far five games in I would say Poulsen, Forrest, Balde, Renato Sanches, Kehrer, Toure and Lafont have been the standouts, but it’s hard to point the finger at anyone for not producing.

Following this game they released the European Elite league team of the month for September. It is listed below.

I’ll be back soon with episode 3 and I am planning some more live stream content for this series as well. Feedback is always welcome. Drop a comment or hit me up on Twitter @VizualDze.

Will play almost anything, although particularly partial to anything involving stealth and silenced pistols. Football game enthusiast. RIP PES.
