Danganronpa’s Digital Disappearing Act

If you have any interest in the Danganronpa series but haven’t yet pulled the trigger, now is the time! Publisher NIS has announced that several of the games will be removed from the PSN store in the near future.

First on the chopping block is Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls which will be removed on August 31st. Then, both Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair will both disappear on September 4th. Lastly, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will be pulled on September 25th.

Our Take: The chances are these games will be republished at a later date and you will still be able to buy the physical versions. However, I am one of the people who has often considered picking up these titles and I think I might jump on board while I still have the chance.

Dual Sense / Dual Shock 4 Comparison

Yesterday Geoff Keighley did a hands on video with the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controller. For the first time we saw the new pad next to the DualShock 4 and were able to properly gauge the size. As expected the DualSense is slightly bulkier and has much better grip in the analog sticks. Keighley also confirmed that due to the added tech in the controller, it did weigh slightly more.

Our Take: I love the look of the new controller. It screams premium to me and I think it’s going to feel like a real upgrade. I currently use Scuf controller, which is the best gaming controller I have ever used, and this looks like the dimensions are very similar.

Rogue Legacy 2 Early Access Delayed

Cellar Door Games has delayed the early access for Rogue Legacy 2 to August 18th. The reason given is ‘minor setbacks’. The announcement was made on Twitter and can be read in full below.

Our Take: The effects of COVID-19 on game releases continue. This is a short delay though and given the quality of the first game I am happy to wait until they feel it is ready to show.
