Geoff Keighley hosted a two-hour Gamescom 2020 stream last night called ‘Opening Night Live’ where he showed off a bunch of upcoming games. While there was some cool stuff shown it’s hard to argue that the event didn’t drag at times, so we thought we would bring the highlights straight to your eyeballs so that you don’t need to waste any precious time. Below are a list of the best trailers shown off, finishing with our pick for trailer of the show.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart Extended Gameplay Demo
Little Nightmares II Gameplay Trailer
Fall Guys Season Two Sneak Peak
Crash Bandicoot 4 Flashback Levels Announcement
WWE 2K Battlegrounds Trailer
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Campaign Trailer
Mafia Definitive Edition Trailer

Also, while not shown during opening night live – Aragami 2 was announced by IGN during a stream following the show. We were at VDZE Media absolutely loved the first game and look forward to learning more about the sequel as it gears up for a 2021 launch. You can watch that announcement trailer below.

Aragami 2 Reveal Trailer

All the above trailers were great and there is so much cool stuff coming over the next year. In these type of shows there is always a winner though. One trailer that stands out above the rest. For us, it was Medal of Honor Above and Beyond. The team at Respawn look to have a masterpiece on their hands, with this shaping up to be one of the best VR titles ever. Now announce the PSVR version you cowards!!!
