Ghost of Tsushima Legends has been dated for an October 16th release by Sucker Punch. It will release alongside a new patch for the game which adds a New Game + mode that is sure to please fans of the game and trophy hunters alike. Legends is set to include story missions designed for two player co-op as well as survival missions that will ve similar to a horde mode, allowing you to battle waves of enemies with friends.

The game will also allow you to choose between four different classes as you build your character. The Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin are the options, with each coming with their own abilities and traits.

Our Take: This is a great free update. I personally prefer playing games solo, so Legends is unlikely to pull me in. However, the New Game + mode certainly will. At this point, I would want to wait and do a second playthrough on PS5, but it did occur to me that with the uncertainty of saves crossing over, you may need to play the vanilla game again before gaining access to NG+ on Sony’s next-gen hardware.

Sony Wouldn’t Allow Japanese Media To See PS5 UI

Several Japanese media outlets and influencers had the opportunity to go hands-on with the PlayStation 5 this weekend. However, strangely Sony blocked anyone from being able to see the consoles UI or any interaction with the create button. Many fans, myself included, had been hoping to finally get a look at how the system will boot up, display trophies and friends lists etc.

Our Take: With just over five or six weeks to go until the consoles launches (depending on where you live), it seems crazy that Sony is unwilling to show off the consoles UI. I’d like to hope it’s because they have a features breakdown planned for the extremely near future, but given their recent silence, it is anyone’s guess at this point.

Will play almost anything, although particularly partial to anything involving stealth and silenced pistols. Football game enthusiast. RIP PES.
