New Indiana Jones Game Announced By Bethesda, Sparking Questions

1 Min Read

Today on Twitter Bethesda announced that studio MachineGames was working on an Indiana Jones game. The statement read as follows;

This is an exciting announcement as Indiana Jones is a beloved IP that hasn’t had enough love in recent years outside of the Lego games. MachineGames are an interesting choice to tackle this game as their expertise lies in first-person shooters having developed all of the Wolfenstein games since the reboot.

No details have been given on what type of game this will be, but I would like to think it will be a third-person action adventure title in a similar vein to Uncharted and Tomb Raider. Unfortunately it may be some time before we get any sort of clarification, with Bethesda themselves stating that “It’ll be some time before we have more to reveal”. This also resurfaces the question of whether Bethesda should continue to announce games so early with both Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI nowhere to be seen despite being announced years ago.

Will play almost anything, although particularly partial to anything involving stealth and silenced pistols. Football game enthusiast. RIP PES.
