Resident Evil Village Trailer, Gameplay, Release Date and Demo Revealed

1 Min Read

The Resident Evil Showcase took place last night and the most important details coming out of the event was the firm update on Resident Evil Village. We were treated to both a new story trailer and gameplay video, both of which are embedded below. Capcom also confirmed within the trailer that the game will release on May 7th, 2021.

As a little added extra, it was also announced that a short demo is now available exclusively to PlayStation 5 players and can be downloaded directly from the store. A demo will hit other platforms, including Xbox and PC in Spring ahead of the release.

Our take: Everything I have seen of Resident Evil Village looks cool. The previous instalment was a real return to form for the series and I am glad to see it continue in the first-person perspective. May 7th also isn’t too far away, giving us more confirmed dates to get excited about.
