Sony revealed last week that they are relaunching their Play at Home initiative for 2021 as the effects of the coronavirus pandemic continue.
The initiative was launched in 2020 as a thank you to all those playing their part to contain the spread of the virus and Sony are now offering discounts and free games for 4 months. The blog post states:
“People all over the world are doing the right thing by staying home to help contain the spread of COVID–19. We are deeply grateful to everyone practicing physical distancing and take our responsibility as a home entertainment platform seriously, so we are asking our community to continue supporting the safe choice and the need to Play At Home.”
Play at Home will see free games dropped to keep the PlayStation community entertained at home.
The first game of this year is Ratchet & Clank – the extremely enjoyable Insomniac Games remake which first launched in 2016.
Available from now until 31st March you can download for FREE on PS4 or PS5. Simply head over to the PlayStation Store website to grab your copy of Ratchet and Clank, or visit the storefront on your console.
You don’t need to be a PlayStation Plus member or PlayStation Now subscriber – anyone with an active PlayStation Network can redeem and will be yours to keep forever.
