This week we’ve been playing Call of Duty: Vanguard, Death’s Door, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and a smidge of Solar Ash. As such we discuss our thoughts on these particular titles.

We also cover all the latest news, including a PlayStation potentially readying a Game Pass competitor, Bioshock 4’s rumoured setting, time period and release window, Take-Two taking the piss and more.

If you’re here for the main event, AKA a new shitty platinum/1000G then fear not, Craig has got you a weekly fix 💉

Also if you weren’t aware, it is the month of festive cheer and as we love Christmas so much we have scrapped Gaming Movie Night in favour of Christmas Movie Night. This week we review the one, the only… Die Hard. Not only 1988’s best film but one of the greatest ever made.

Also, if you love Christmas as much as us, take a look at our Christmas Film Advent Calendar and see how many you can get through this month!

If you don’t already, also drop us a follow on Twitter. We started this separate account to cover both website and podcast content on New Years Eve 2020 and since then we have gained over 4,000 followers. Reaching 5K before the end of December seems unlikely, but Christmas is a magical time, so help make it happen!

The official Pure Dead Gaming ☠️ #Christmas advent calendar is now LIVE! Let's see how many you can get through! pic.twitter.com/p5YDW1TnMb

Craig started gaming at 4 years old on the NES and has been hooked ever since. Trophies and achievements have only made him fall deeper down the rabbit hole. Will play almost anything, although particularly partial to anything involving stealth and silenced pistols. Football game enthusiast. RIP PES.
