A new football season inevitably brings with it a new edition of Konami’s PES series which in turn requires a whole new option file to import all the correct team names, emblems and kits. If you aren’t familiar with how to import an option file I have listed the steps required below. If however you just need the download file, jump to the bottom of the article for a direct link.

This option file includes all of the Premier League, English Championship and La Liga. Competition names and emblems need to be done manually after importing this option file.

FULL CREDIT for this option file goes to user Dito Play on YouTube. You can subscribe to his channel here.

IMPORT INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Download the option file at the link below.
  2. Extract the WEPES folder inside the RAR file to the root of a FAT32 formatted USB stick and insert the stick into your PS4.
  3. From the main PES menu go to Settings > Edit.
  4. Select Import/Export.
  5. If it is your first time in this section you will need to complete a short importing tutorial.
  6. Select Import team, press ok and then select your USB stick.
  7. You will now see a list of all the teams you can import. Press square to select all and then X on “Go to Detailed Settings”. Tick both options on the next screen and then press X on ok.
  8. Wait a few minutes while the files import and you are done!

Craig started gaming at 4 years old on the NES and has been hooked ever since. Trophies and achievements have only made him fall deeper down the rabbit hole. Will play almost anything, although particularly partial to anything involving stealth and silenced pistols. Football game enthusiast. RIP PES.
