Dreams Finally Gets PSVR Support

We all knew Dreams was going to have PSVR support at some stage. Now developer Media Molecule has announced that the update will come on July 22nd. The update is titled ‘Inside the Box’ and will come with a few VR compatible games to try out as well as some new tutorials showing you how to use the tools in a virtual reality space.

Our Take: Dreams is an incredible app. After being really taken with it at launch I must admit I haven’t loaded it up in a few months now. This update is just the thing to pull me back in.

Crash 4 Won’t Feature Microtransactions

Developer Toys For Bob have taken to Twitter to dispel rumours that their upcoming game Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will feature microtransactions. They had the following to say;

Fans of Crash will remember that Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled also launched with no microtransactions, but they were then shoehorned in at a later date. Hopefully we don’t see a repeat of that in the future.

Our Take: Personally I don’t care if they add cosmetic microtransactions to Crash. I know as a gamer we are trained to hate any mention of the word, but I just can’t bring myself to care. My excitement for the game is super high though. All the footage we have seen so far is very positive. You can check out the reveal trailer here.

Crysis Remastered Release Date Leaked

The Microsoft Store is at it again! This time they have unveiled the release date for the upcoming remaster of Crysis. This is the third time in quick succession this has happened with them recently outing both the Mafia II Definitive Edition and also Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning. The game will launch on July 23rd and is only a 7.01GB download according to Microsoft.

Our Take: Crysis has always been the ultimate generic shooter to me. I would definitely be willing to give it another go but finding the time to do so is an entirely different matter. That said the game does have a following and news that it will be launching so soon is likely to have people jumping aboard the hype train.
