Sony released a tweet earlier today delaying the PS5 event that was scheduled for this Thursday. The reason for the delay is the current protests and rioting currently ongoing in America.
Our Take: As Sony said, while this is going to disappoint many gamers, it is the correct decision. The current situation in America is very serious and a worldwide gaming conference doesn’t feel like the best idea right now. I imagine we will see this event later in June.
